What is the difference between electronic tensile testing machines and electronic testing machines?

2023-03-28

Electronic tensile testing machines are different from electronic testing machines. Firstly, understand the difference between electronic tensile testing machines and electronic testing machines literally. In fact, they are all tensile testing machines, also known as tensile testing machines. They can test various forces on objects, but their testing range is different.

1、 Electronic tensile testing machine

The electronic tensile testing machine is suitable for testing the properties of plastic films, composite materials, adhesives, adhesive tapes, stickers, medical patches, protective films, release papers, backing materials, rubber, paper fibers, and other products, such as stretching, peeling, deformation, tearing, heat sealing, adhesion, puncture force, opening force, and low-speed unwinding force.

The tension machine fixture, as a key component of the instrument, requires different fixtures for different materials, which is also a key factor in whether the test can be carried out smoothly and the accuracy of the test results.

The electronic tensile testing machine is mainly powered by a servo motor, which completes the lifting and lowering of the testing machine through a transmission system, and then performs tensile testing on the tested materials. The characteristics of the electronic tensile testing machine are low noise, zero pollution, and high equipment accuracy.

The electronic tensile testing machine can be divided into two working modes based on space: single-phase stretching and upward pulling and downward pressing. If the customer does not have a special choice, they usually ship according to the standard model of upward space stretching and downward space compression.

This model is usually used for tensile testing in small tons, and the testing industry includes plastic, rubber, paper, non-woven fabrics, and metal materials with normal strength. The testing force ranges from 100N (or less) to 10000 N (or more). The disadvantage is that the purchase cost is relatively higher than that of hydraulic testing machines.

2、 Electronic testing machine

The electronic testing machine is mainly used for testing the conventional mechanical performance indicators of various non-metallic and composite materials. The professionally designed automatic control and data acquisition system has achieved full digital adjustment of the system.

The data collection, process control, and post-processing of the experimental data are all completed by computers during the experimental process.

This device can automatically calculate tensile strength, peel strength, tear strength, etc. This equipment is suitable for waterproof rolls, metal wire, textiles, rubber, ceramics, packaging industries, film, paper, plastic products and other manufacturing industries, as well as product quality supervision departments at all levels. It is also suitable for teaching demonstrations in universities, vocational colleges, and other specialized institutions.

Compared to electronic tensile testing machines, electronic testing machines use hydraulic cylinder drive in their working principle. Usually, testing forces above 30 tons (including 30 tons) will use this type of equipment, such as high-strength bolts, steel bars, and power fittings. The characteristics include low procurement cost, strong applicability to working conditions, and long replacement cycle.

At present, there are many types of hydraulic testing machines, so customers can have more choices. If you only do simple tensile strength testing, you can consider the digital display type, which can save budget costs and can also be upgraded later; If there are many tests, such as yield strength, elongation, etc. It must be controlled by a microcomputer. Although the cost is relatively high, it will be more convenient and efficient to use.
